Important District Conference Information

Dear Fellow Rotarians of District 7020

Happy New Year District 7020! We are only five months away from the 2013 District Conference to be held in the British Virgin Islands, May 13-18, 2013. As Conference Chairman, I would like to use this opportunity to express our excitement for the conference ahead, under the theme, "Experience the Passion of Rotary".

Congratulations and thanks to those who have already registered. If you have not, you are invited to visit our Conference website at www.rotary7020conference.com or the District 7020 Website at www.7020.org to obtain further information on the Conference and, most importantly, to be included amongst the hundreds we anticipate will be visiting the beautiful shores of the British Virgin Islands to take part in the Conference.

Both websites will take you through a step by step process to register and will also provide an opportunity to submit any questions you might have regarding the Conference. For countries in our District that will need BVI Visas such as Haiti and Jamaica, we have simplified the process for you as follows:

1. Register for the Conference.
2. Email a scanned copy of your passport fact page which details your passport number and other issuing facts such as the place where your passport was issued, its expiration date and your photo to bvi2013@gmail.com Attention: District Conference 2012-2013 Secretary, Laura Arthur.
3. All persons requiring Visas should register and submit Visa request not later than February 28, 2013. We suggest that persons who require Visas register and send passport information as a group.
4. After your Visa has been processed we will email you a copy of the Visa.
5. Present Visa copy to airline agent when traveling to the BVI.
6. For Haitian Rotarians your point of contact in Haiti is PAG Caleb Lucien. Please email him at celucien@aol.com. PAG Caleb will also be coordinating travel for Haitian Rotarians coming to the Conference.
