District Governor's Message - October 2018

Fellow Rotarians,

Our relevance as an organization is directly related to our community involvement. The second object of Rotary pitches us directly to the communities we serve, because that is where Rotary work begins. Each community has its unique needs and concerns, and we have a proven record of addressing them.

When Rotary started on February 23, 1905 on that faithful day in RM 711 of the unity building in downtown Chicago, the basic principle of professional diversity(Classification) was established.
