Dear Fellow Rotarians,
I want to thank you all for this successful Rotary Year in which our District has continued to Grow Stronger Serving Better. Thanks to the great leadership and work that Rotarians are doing in their clubs and in their communities, my District Governor’s Report has been a positive one despite the different challenges faced this year.
Our District Conference in Pétion-Ville Haiti was a great opportunity to celebrate our clubs’ achievements and to share the great work undertaken by all the clubs throughout our District.
I thank all those clubs who sent their MAKING A DIFFERENCE VIDEOS which allowed Rosa and I to share with our Rotarians during our District Conference. We saw the impact of these projects during our club visits and they inspired us and made us even more proud to be Rotarians.
This year at our Conference 504 participants came together to have great fellowship, be happy to see friends and excited about making new ones. Rosa and I were thrilled to see so many of you had made time to come and be with us. Many new Rotarians were present and witnessed what Rotary is all about in our District. Together with our Conference Chair, the different committee members involved and your presence, this Conference was a success and I thank you all for coming and celebrating.
Fellowship is the first objective of Rotary the initial reason our organisation was founded and it continues to be the strength of Rotary through out the world. To grow stronger we must enjoy being together as Rotarians enjoying the fellowship that motivates us to attend our weekly meetings to have fun and meet the needs of our communities through our projects.
The month of June is designated to increase the fellowship in the clubs while providing community service. As well as the fellowship which took place at our District Conference, I invite you to continue creating more fellowship activities to develop stronger Clubs and more engaged Rotarians.
From the emails Rosa and I have received, many Rotarians and guests from different clubs in our District and other Districts, it is evident that they had been inspired and had enjoyed the fellowship during our District Conference and returned to make their Clubs Stronger to Serve Better.
During the last month of 2017-2018 let us continue to work even harder and have fun planting trees, finishing our projects, giving to the Rotary Foundation and enjoying the fellowship that takes place in our clubs. Let us prepare our different club changeovers by having the most exciting club ceremonies with lots of fun and celebrating working together as a team to continue Making A Difference for those around us.

Chers amis Rotariens,
Je tiens à vous remercier tous pour cette Année Rotarienne réussie, au cours de laquelle notre District a continué à Se Renforcer Pour Mieux Servir. Grâce à l'excellent leadership et au travail que font les Rotariens dans leurs clubs et dans leurs communautés, mon rapport comme Gouverneur de District a été positif malgré les différents défis rencontrés cette année.
Notre Conférence de District à Pétion-Ville Haïti a été une excellente occasion de célébrer les réalisations de nos clubs et de partager le formidable travail entrepris par tous les clubs de notre District.
Je remercie tous les clubs qui ont envoyé leurs VIDÉOS FAIRE UNE DIFFÉRENCE qui ont permis à Rosa et moi de partager avec nos Rotariens lors de notre Conférence de District. Nous avons vu l'impact de ces projets lors de nos visites de clubs et ils nous ont inspiré et nous ont rendu encore plus fiers d'être Rotariens.
Cette année, lors de notre Conférence, 504 participants se sont réunis pour avoir une grande fraternité, être heureux de voir des amis et heureux d'en faire de nouveaux. Rosa et moi étions ravis de voir que beaucoup d'entre vous avaient pris le temps de venir et d'être avec nous. Beaucoup de nouveaux Rotariens étaient présents et ont été témoins de ce qu’est le Rotary dans notre District. En collaboration avec notre Conference Chair, les différents membres du comité impliqués et votre présence, cette Conférence a été un succès et je vous remercie tous d'être venus et de célébrer.
La camaraderie est le premier objectif du Rotary la raison initiale pour laquelle notre organisation a été fondée et il continue d'être la force du Rotary à travers le monde. Pour devenir plus forts, nous devons aimer être ensemble, car les Rotariens profitent de la fraternité qui nous motive à assister à nos réunions hebdomadaires pour s'amuser et répondre aux besoins de nos communautés à travers nos projets.
Le mois de juin est désigné pour augmenter la camaraderie dans les clubs tout en fournissant un service communautaire. En plus de la camaraderie qui a eu lieu à notre Conférence de District, je vous invite à continuer à créer plus d'activités de camaraderie pour développer des clubs plus forts et des Rotariens plus engagés.
D'après les courriels que Rosa et moi avons reçus de nombreux Rotariens et invités de différents clubs de notre District et d'autres Districts, il est évident qu'ils ont été inspirés et ont apprécié la camaraderie pendant notre Conférence de District et sont repartis pour rendre leurs Clubs plus forts.
Au cours du dernier mois de 2017-2018, continuons à travailler encore plus fort tout en nous amusant en plantant des arbres, à terminer nos projets, à donner à la Fondation Rotary et à profiter de la camaraderie qui a lieu dans nos clubs. Préparons nos différents changements au niveau de nos clubs en organisant des cérémonies de club les plus excitantes avec beaucoup de plaisir et en célébrant le fait de travailler ensemble en équipe pour continuer à avoir Un Réel Impact pour ceux qui nous entourent.
